Crackdown On Naked Tourism At Machu Picchu

Peru is cracking down on tourists that run pant-less or “streak” at Machu Picchu. Apparently, adventure seekers that end up at Peru’s top historical destination like to loose their threads and frolic naked among the ruins. This YouTube video from the Daily News totally captures the spirit of Naked Tourism.

Streaking might not be family friendly but it is hilarious. However, I’d be nervous to whip it out in a South American rain-forest. Peruvian mosquitoes are the size of sweet potatoes. Aside from getting a sack sting from a dinosaur-like, winged hell-bug, an unlucky birthday suit thrill-ster could rub up against some venomous moss or perhaps scrap a nipple on a poisonous bramble.

Speaking of streaking, how about the time funny man Pat McCormick streaked across the Tonight Show stage during one of Johnny’s monologues.

Finally, Homer on vacation.
