Ted Cruz took a moment out of running for President of Loony America recently to go bird hunting with the equally crazy, but far more stupid, Steve King.

The two Republican lawmakers bravely took on some viscous, rampaging pheasants in King’s home turf of western Iowa recently.
Twitter was rife with “shooting in the face” jokes, in reference to when the Dark Lord (Dick Cheney) accidentally popped a fellow one-percenter in the puss with bird shot on a similar hunting trip. Cheney’s buddy survived.
The Texas senator and Iowa congressman reportedly discussed former veep Cheney’s previous incident on their recent avian massacre.
“Look, it happens,” Cruz said.
Sounds like the same attitude the political bomb-throwing senator had following the recent economic hostage crisis that he created.
