In episode #25 of the Crabdiving Comedy Podcast, me and Patrick Viall spend some air time chatting about “tentacle erotica”, a.k.a “tentacle porn”. Tentacle porn combines porno with the sci-fi/ horror movie genre.
This squid-sex fetish is the current rage in where else, Japan. The origins of tentacle porn can be traced back to the early 1800s from an illustration called “The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife”. The painting was part of a Japanese novel by Katsushika Hokusai, the title of which I don’t feel like typing.
Here’s the “The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife”. You can see two octopi double-teaming the woman. Supposedly, everything depicted below is totally consensual. Holy shit Japan.
