West Virginia State Delegate Ray Canterbury Wants School Kids to Work for Lunch

West Virginia GOP lawmaker — and Hair Club for Men “before” model — Ray Canterbury thinks those lazy schoolkids should work for their school lunches.

According to the Huffington Post, Scrooge Mc-Canterbury “floated the idea during floor debate in the state’s House of Delegates of having school children work as janitors.”

The bill in question was the “Feed to Achieve Act”, which would create non-profit organizations that would raise private donations for free breakfasts and lunches for all kids.

“Rug” Ray – as we here at CrabDiving have dubbed Canterbury due to the dead weasel it looks like he wears on his head – reportedly said, “If they miss a lunch or they miss a meal they might not, in that class that afternoon, learn to add, they may not learn to diagram a sentence, but they’ll learn a more important lesson.”

Why don’t we just toss the little bastards in the coal mines where they can really earn their keep?
