The frightening Texas Republican platform for 2014 seeks to ban Islamic Sharia Law while ironically ramming the Christian version up everyone’s starfish.
In addition to excluding gay GOP groups from their annual Klan – oops, I mean Texas GOP party – meeting, the goosesteppers in the Lone Star state drafted a wish list right out of the fifteenth century.
Here are some of the TX GOP party platform lowlights:
– Texas Republicans must strive to get rid of “the myth of separation of church and state.”
– Evolution is a “controversial theory” to be challenged in schools.
– Schools should teach “subjects with emphasis on the Judeo-Christian principles upon which America was founded and which form the basis of America’s legal, political and economic systems.”
– Climate change doesn’t exist and is a “political agenda”.
– Texas must repeal the sexual orientation category from the state’s hate crimes laws and support “cure the gay” reparative “therapy”.
– There should be a ban on the “morning after” pill and other “abortifacients”.
This is the ‘Murica these Lone Star Christo-Fascists – and the like-minded ilk – want to create.
